What’s the difference between Lodgic Books and Lodgic Manage?
Lodgic Books is your bookkeeping module: income and expense tracking, IRS Schedule E categories, AI receipt scanning, P&L reports, and tax worksheets. Lodgic Manage is your property back-office: contractors, maintenance logs, document storage, loan tracking, inventory, and knowledge base. Manage includes all Books features at the same tier level, so you do not need to buy both separately.
Is there really a free plan? What’s the catch?
Yes. Free forever on 1 property, no credit card required. You get per-property P&L, IRS categories, OTA CSV import, manual transaction entry, financial charts, and 10 AI receipt scans per month. Monthly book closing, CSV export, and Schedule E worksheets are available on Starter and above. When you are ready to add more properties, upgrade to a paid plan. Your data carries over seamlessly.
Do I need to be an accountant to use Lodgic Books?
Not at all. Lodgic is built for hosts, not accountants. IRS Schedule E categories are pre-loaded so you never have to figure out which line an expense belongs on. If you can log an expense on your phone, you can use Lodgic.
What OTAs and PMS platforms does Lodgic work with?
Lodgic works with any STR setup: Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, direct booking, Hospitable, OwnerRez, and more. You can import transactions via CSV from any platform, or connect directly via our integrations. No specific OTA or PMS is required to use Lodgic.
How does annual billing work? Can I switch later?
Annual billing charges you once per year, and you get 2 months free compared to paying monthly. You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time. If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, we prorate the difference.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is always yours. Before cancelling you can export everything: all transactions, P&L reports, property data, and receipts as CSV files. We never hold your data hostage. If you cancel, your account downgrades to the free plan and your data remains accessible.
Can my CPA or accountant access my Lodgic account?
On Business plans with team seats, you can invite your CPA or accountant as a team member with a Viewer role. They can review your books and pull reports without being able to change anything. You can also export Schedule E worksheets as PDF or CSV at any time on Starter plans and above.
What is Founding Member Pricing?
